Testimonials from Co-Workers (Prior Bosses & Co-teachers)
Chelsea excels in using a wide variety of tools to make her classes great. In addition to wonderful rapport with her students and excellent lesson design, Chelsea makes her classes come alive with affective screen annotation, incorporation of multi-media resources, and more!
Chelsea conducts her classes professionally, effectively, and compassionately. I am consistently impressed when conducting observations, and she receives excellent reviews from her students.

–Laura Lubin (ELS St. Petersburg, Florida, Academic Director) (September 2015)
Chelsea was a good teacher at Dong-ju Elementary in Busan, South Korea. She was always punctual and well prepared for her classes. Chelsea participated in summer and winter English camps in my school and she created fun materials to motivate students. For sports day at camp, she helped to create fun activities for the kids. She was always a nice teacher to her young students out of the classroom and eager to teach them in the classroom. For spring break, she created her own reading curriculum for low level students using English story books. She often made interesting worksheets and PowerPoint slide shows to make her lessons even more fun for the young kids. She loves kids and the kids love her back.
– Minja Kim (3rd and 4th grade English co-teacher at Dong-ju Elementary School in Busan, South Korea)

Testimonials from Prior ESL Students
I was surprised by her delicacy. It is not easy to type in the chat every time for us who are not native English. And the delicate and detailed things that I explained every time were very helpful when I wrote in English.

One of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had because I could learn straight from an American teacher. I learned not only English, but also American culture. The classes were very dynamic and we were able to talk about everything. Thanks, Chelsea!
–Rafaela Guimaraes, Brazil (October-November 2013)
I had an amazing experience with Chelsea’s classes, sharing a lot of information about every kind of subject. In my opinion, those were the best classes I had because we could talk about polemic topics, which are not easy to deal with if you have several different cultures working together. Another point was that she treated us like adults, and not like teenagers imposing her rules to be respected. I felt really comfortable to give my opinion and express my thoughts. Thank you, Chelsea, for everything. I hope we can meet each other soon.
–Leandro Bremer, Brazil (October-November 2013)
I had 2 classes with Chelsea in different levels and I learned a lot from her because she is very creative when explaining the grammar or new words. She is dedicated, organized, and she always corrected me when I needed it. I appreciate everything I learned from her!
–Lais S. Peixinho, Brazil (October-November 2013)
Chelsea makes us feel free to speak as much as we can in class. She was my debate teacher. Before we had a final debate, she made many chances to talk about many different topics in a group. It was really helpful for me to build my opinion and express myself. I’m positive she is one of the best teachers!
–Miri Hong, South Korea (November 2013)
My experience in Chelsea’s class was really good for a few different reasons. I believe that one of the most important experiences that she taught me was how to see the environment in a completely different way. Therefore, thank you for sharing not only your knowledge, but also your way of being.
–Arthur N. Artolani, Brazil (Summer-Fall 2013)
Hello, I’m Moha. Unfortunately, my experience in Chelsea’s class was short, just for a month. I wish I could have been a student of hers for a long time. The way she teaches is great and super fun. You would study and have fun at the same time. I have gotten my experience in her class and I can say I am better in English than I was before. Thank you, Chelsea

Hi, I’m going to talk about my experience in Chelsea’s class. Chelsea is one of the best teachers. I have learned a lot in her class. I could develop my skills in a short time. I’m glad to be one of her students. I’ve been in the U.S.A. for almost one year. I highly recommend her as a teacher because she has her own style of teaching. In Chelsea’s class, you are not only learning, you also enjoy being one of her students. I thank her for everything she has done for me.
–Omar Aljohani, Saudi Arabia (November 2013)
I took a lot of Chelsea’s classes since I came to Los Angeles. She is so kind and helpful. If I was confused about anything, she helped me. When I applied for college, she wrote a letter of recommendation for me. I really appreciated her cooperation.

There are no words to match my gratitude. I want to thank you for everything you have taught me and for supporting me. You were always helping me when I had a question. When I wanted to be lazy, you wouldn’t let me. When I wanted to quit, you kept me working. You always give us the time to say what we want without stopping us. Lastly, thank you for everything you have done for me and my class. You will never be forgotten.
